Dawson Shorman started music lessons at age five, and now at age 20 loves teaching and passing on his love for music. He has a passion for all types of music, but especially indie-pop. He currently attends Dallas Baptist University as a Music Business major with a concentration in Song Writing and Recording. He plays electric guitar in the worship band at the Village Dallas, as well as DBU chapel. He is a free-lance and studio electric guitarist in the Dallas metroplex. He has a gift for teaching children and adults and is able to work with and teach students of all abilities. Dawson teaches guitar, voice, piano and songwriting.
Nate Shorman has been playing guitar, piano and drums and taking lessons for over 17 years. He is a Texas A&M graduate with a music minor. He has experience in classical, acoustic, and electric guitar, as well as, drum kit and piano. He is a free-lance and studio drummer for various venues around the Dallas, Austin, and Houston areas, as well as a photographer and filmmaker. Colton Shorman has been playing viola and taking lessons for over 15 years. He is a 21 year old homeschool graduate attending Texas A&M. He has taught private violin and viola lessons for over six years. He is a free-lance keyboardist in the Dallas and College Station areas, as well as a sought-after soundtrack composer. He teaches violin, viola, keyboarding, and songwriting.
Kim has been playing piano for many years. She is older than Nathan, Colton, and Dawson :-), and is their mom. She teaches classical piano and contemporary worship keyboarding. She also plays keyboard for her church, Coppell Bible Fellowship, where she and her family have attended for over twenty years.
